Bufali is a village and municipality about 3 km from Albaida and 78 km from the city of Valencia, Spain. It is situated in the Vall d'Albaida.
In the village itself there is the town hall which also houses the health centre, a small school a local shop and a pharmacy. There are small naves on the edge of the village which house some light industry. Behind the naves is Bufali station (parada), which is a stop on the Xàtiva–Alcoy service operated by Renfe. What almost never fails in a village like Bufali.
From a wood-fired oven if you're lucky; ask what time the batch comes out.
There's almost always a cheesemaker nearby; the local shop will know which one.
From local beekeepers: wildflower or rosemary, depending on the hills.
Almost every village has its market day and its producers: the cheesemaker, the baker, the vegetable garden next door. Ask at the tourist office or the bar on the square; they'll tell you where to buy straight from the maker.
We haven't confirmed Bufali's market day. Every village has its own: better to ask than to make it up.
