Su casco medieval, declarado Conjunto Histórico-Artístico, corona la confluencia de los ríos Ara y Cinca, con el Parque Nacional de Ordesa a media hora. Vive del turismo, pero no solo: hay comercio local activo, escuela, centro de salud y una comunidad que recibe bien a quien llega con ganas de quedarse.
