Teulada is a small coastal town on Spain's Costa Blanca, located 3 km north from Junction 63 of the A7 E-15 toll motorway on the N-332 coast road.
Setting it apart from its coastal neighbours of Calp and further south, Benidorm, the town council passed laws limiting the height of buildings and protecting the natural pines that cover the sides of the valley leading to the coastal part of the municipality, Moraira.

What almost never fails in a village like Teulada.
From a wood-fired oven if you're lucky; ask what time the batch comes out.
There's almost always a cheesemaker nearby; the local shop will know which one.
From local beekeepers: wildflower or rosemary, depending on the hills.
Almost every village has its market day and its producers: the cheesemaker, the baker, the vegetable garden next door. Ask at the tourist office or the bar on the square; they'll tell you where to buy straight from the maker.
Market day: Friday, 9:00 to 14:00
